LA CAUSA YouthBuild is a non-profit Organization that has been established since 2003 in the area of East Los Angeles. LA CAUSA is a program partnered with YouthBuild Charter School of California, to provide students with an accredited High School Diploma. We have been active to constantly work closely with our young adults to provide a high school experience that would benefit everyone including their families and communities. We have been able to educate hundreds of youth who have been pushed out of there traditional educational spaces. Importantly, 56 of our young adults will continue to work towards their personal goals and aspirations as they have graduated in June 2018.

LA CAUSA's mission is to provide out of school and unemployed young adults between the ages of 16 and 26 an opportunity to obtain their high school diploma and receive vocational training in the areas of media literacy, leadership development, and residential construction by providing a hands on opportunity that impacts their communities. This program has severed as a starting point for lifelong learning, employment. and community participation. Our goal is to provide our youth with the opportunity to enter the workforce and or continue post-secondary education while building self-sufficiency. LA CAUSA has remained active in our community and surrounding communities by doing community beautification projects, community gardens, fundraising, tutoring of children, and educating the community of greening projects and laws. This success and betterment of East Los Angeles can only be done with the continual support of grants, partnerships, and support.  LA CAUSA is recognized by the Internal Revenue Services(IRS) as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.
